Session Report, in which we ring in the new year with confused robots

The latest Jerusalem Strategy Gaming Club session report is up (oops! corrected the year :-|). Games played: Havoc, Robo Rally x 2.

Game News

The Washington Herald on a new board game about drug smuggling. The smuggling mechanic is both risky and rewarding. From the designer: "This started out as a game about decisions between good and evil ... From there, it evolved into a fun game."

The Escapist on some ancient playground games that tell stories of dire human peril.

New entrants in my list of celebrities who play games: Michael Bolton and Nicollette Sheridan attribute their rekindled relationship to their joint love for Scrabble. Kayne West and Consequence keep losing at Connect Four to Beyonce.
