Further to the three monopoly games of themed around Target and Chrsyler ine the United States and Turku in Finland, I have found two more recently. BBK Clinical research (http://www.bbkworldwide.com/) and Neiman Marcus (www.neimanmarcus.com)
In the UK, we have had a number of new editions. Bournemouth, Carlisle, East Grinstead, Liverpool City 08, Sheffield, Tottenham Hotspurs FC, and a special one for the Tutankhamun exhition in London. this edition is only available from the Harrods and Hamleys stores or at the exhibition. Making it quite sought after.
Yet more special editions are available from Hasbro. An Onyx look, deluxe edition is available from Barnes Noble (USA) and ToysRus in the UK. these are meant to appeal to the Franklin Mint type of buyers. But the game is quite inferior. Being made from plastic. Disappointing.
There is also an edition produced in the Netherlands from the Hans Anders vision shops. A few editions have found their way on to marktplaats.nl.

Instead houses and hotels you have Fabs and Foundries, ASML money instead Monopoly money, there are 8 pewter tokens, a wafer, a delivery truck, a company logo, a n office, a cleanroom guy, a lens, a globe and a Twinscan. The community chest & chance cards are replaced by Press releases and Internal Emails. The title deed cards feature ASML systems and tehnology. It was a gift to the employees dec 2008

I have about two dozen versions. One of my more rare ones is one shaped like a book. Not the one from Target (although I have that one, too), but this one looks like a book. It snaps on the side, and is one of only ten thousand. My copy is #3,300. I also have the Michael Graves ed. I have a magnetic travel ed. from UK. I, like a previous poster, only collect what interests me, not just because it is Monopoly. I'd like to get some more eds from around the world, and some US eds like cities, snoopy, etc. Thanks so much for your very wonderful listing. I also have the one shaped like a car, a train, and one that came in a wooden box, the 'Nostalgia' ed, I think. I want to get the one from the Franklin Mint, and the Heritage ed, I think it is, as well as the anniversary ones, and the replica of the first board. I want a lot, eh? I have several CD's of Monopoly as well. The one I liked the best is probably my oldest and does not work on xp. I think it is the one for Win95. Figures. I have designed (but not built, or set up) a Harry Potter/Hogwarts themed Monopoly. I can just imagine the copyrights I'd be infringing on, so that ed is only in my head.

There are three different Michael Graves versions. One in a lighter colored wood that doesnt fold, a darker cherrywood one that folds and stores the stuff inside and a plastic one with a folding board inside.

I would class an official version (which is what I only collect and for my website) those which have the official logo on and been endorsed by Hasbro. Hasbro did not have the time and resources to do local ones, so USAopoly took the opportunity to in the USA and in Europe, a company called Winning Moves.

I have a Texas state shaped Monopoly made by Hasbro in 1999. I didn't see it on the list . Have you ever heard of this one? It's huge, not your standard rectangle shaped. I've been searching the net for info on how rare it is. And apparently it is, because I find nothing on it.
