We noticed that on the first play, that they were more pointful than buying the buildings.

YehudaYehuda Berlingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16038826060312027387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9319479.post-7352846516054461212012-08-27T15:52:45.576+03:002012-08-27T15:52:45.576+03:00Kingdom of Solomon is a lot more open than you thi...Kingdom of Solomon is a lot more open than you think. Even if you're not trying to get the High Priest bonus, the points from building the temple are very significant. And the most efficient way to score is actually to sell into the market (which is a lot more powerful than most people pick up on in their first couple of plays).

Buildings are certainly important, but my experience is that you really can build different strategies that don't completely rely on them.Chris Norwoodhttp://gamerchris.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9319479.post-38644147444819708852012-08-26T19:16:36.242+03:002012-08-26T19:16:36.242+03:00In Troyes, I had the money bonus card and got 6 po...In Troyes, I had the money bonus card and got 6 points, I think Emily did too, she had a lot of money the whole game. So you got more points from actual actions than we did. Kingdom of Solomon is redeemed by the game length - it's short, so everything matters, and you constantly have to evaluate risk/reward. You're right about the luck and turn order factors, which are also relevant in Troyes.Nadinenoreply@blogger.com
