A Bump in the Road

I would just like to give a shout out to the guy or gal who came up with the idea of having visitors to a website pay to not see ads. The idea is based on the following premise:

The people who have money, or are willing to spend money, do not see advertisements. The people who don't have money, or are not willing to spend money, see advertisements.

What a brilliant concept. I expect this idea to have a long lifespan.

I've been doing it by hand. Thanks.

I should really download and use some program, but I can't decide on a good free one to use with blogger.

This isn't a program.... It simply builds the tags and you copy-paste them in your post... Thats all
It's free too :)

This is akin to the situation of many people who can least afford it keep buying from the infomercials and TV sales channels, while the people with more money don't even watch them.

I don't know of too many people who are well-off financially who are regularly spending their money on lotteries.

Is there is a psychology in these situations that finds it easier to "rob" poorer people?

GG: It at least makes some sense to show to poor people advertising about things that poor people may want, such as cheap goods and instant money. From the advertiser's perspective, anyway.
