Problogger Entries: A Great List of Posts

Problogger once again ran a group writing project, this time a post about "top five".

Why Do It?

Why do I take part? Well, aside from the inevitable extra traffic, new readers and subscribers, and kind words from other participants, it so happens that the posts I write for these projects are among my best.

Which of course beggars the question: why don't I write posts like this every week, instead of waiting for a project to come along. Since there's no good answer to that, I am going to make an effort to do just that.

How Was It?

This is now my third or fourth time participating. Unlike last time, where I found the other people's posts rather disappointing - and wrote about it - this time I found the quality of the posts to be excellent. In fact, rather than list the posts I liked, I felt like I had to include just about all of them.

What didn't I include? I didn't include really lame entries, and multiple entries from the same participant. As for the latter, you were only supposed to enter once, but apparently the lure of a $1001 cash prize randomly awarded proved too much for some people to resist, and as a result they tried to sneak in up to ten entries to the same blog using different names (either that, or they were ten different writers all from the same blog, but they weren't supposed to do that, either).

Or, I simply couldn't reach your post or site, or I accidentally deleted it. In the end, I eliminated about 60 of the posts, out of 890.
