Session Report Up, in which I try a new prototype

The latest Jerusalem Strategy Gaming Club session report is up here. Games played: a prototype, Power Grid, Children of Fire: the Board Game, Zendo, Netrunner, By Hook or By Crook, Lord of the Rings: the Confrontation.

I found it harder to make this prototype, and the resulting mess of components that I came up with scared away the testers.

And David gets upset at Netrunner.

Golden Laurel Entertainment is a new publisher that is desperate enough to declare about one of its games, on it's home page, top center in big letters: "Nominated for Board Game Geek's MOST ANTICIPATED GAMES (2007) List".

Their newest game is a card game "Kill the Hippies", which makes fun of religious right Christian extremists by showing a bunch of them in a pick-up truck shooting and running over some hippies. Critical Gamers weighs in.

And not content with turning children on to the joy of credit card debt with its new Monopoly games, Hasbro is now going to include credit cards in the Game of Life, too.
