Rick writes that he is dropping out of game reporting and management of Board Game News. Sad news.
I haven't gotten to meet him, yet. But since he also won't be visiting conventions as often, my chances are now slimmer than ever. I'm hoping he will one day visit the holy land. :-)
Aside from Board Game Geek, Board Game News is probably the best repository of game information, and it is less than a year old. That is a tribute to his work and dedication. Luckily for us, Eric Martin has promised to take over the reins; hopefully it will continue to earn its respected place among game sites on the web.
Dave Tianen, a frequent reviewer of games and movies, lists a few good game recommendations in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
